Please review the following policies and safety information before attending your workshop.

General Safety Waiver

Participants in workshops at The Loft Studios / La Belle Farms may be exposed to a variety of natural and art materials, including (but not limited to) evergreens, pinecones, wild berries, rosehips, and other items that may be sharp or cause irritation.

I understand that I may use and/or be exposed to tools and materials such as drills, hammers, mallets, nails, sandpaper, cutting tools, paints (including low VOC paints), adhesives, and other workshop supplies. I agree to use all tools and materials responsibly and to follow all safety instructions provided.

I acknowledge that I am responsible for any damage I cause to tools, equipment, or the studio space.

I recognize that participation in workshops involves inherent risks, including the risk of injury. I agree to take reasonable precautions and to follow all policies, instructions, and safety guidelines provided by The Loft Studios / La Belle Farms, whether given verbally or in writing.

I understand that participation in a group environment carries some risk of exposure to illness. I agree not to attend if I am feeling unwell or have symptoms of a contagious illness.

Stair Access Acknowledgement

I acknowledge that The Loft Studios is located upstairs and requires the use of stairs. I accept full responsibility for navigating the stairs and studio space safely.

Resin Workshop Safety (If Applicable)

Some workshops involve the use of epoxy resin and related materials.

I understand that:

  • Resin is a chemical product that may cause skin irritation or allergic reactions

  • Fumes may be present during application

  • Protective equipment (such as gloves) will be provided and must be used as instructed

I agree to:

  • Follow all instructor directions carefully during resin use

  • Avoid direct skin contact with resin

  • Inform the instructor of any sensitivities or concerns

I understand that resin pieces require curing time and:

  • I may need to leave my project at the studio for pickup at a later date

  • The studio is not responsible for minor imperfections that occur during the curing process

Cancellation & Booking Policy

  • Full payment is required to reserve your spot in a workshop

  • Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the workshop will receive a studio credit (no refunds)

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the workshop are non-refundable and not eligible for credit

  • If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your spot to another person (please notify us in advance)

  • If a workshop is cancelled by The Loft Studios, a full refund or credit will be provided

Photography Consent

We love sharing the beautiful work created in our studio! Photos and videos may be taken during workshops for use on social media, our website, and promotional materials.

If you prefer not to be photographed, please let us know at the beginning of the workshop.

Release of Liability

I hereby release and discharge The Loft Studios / La Belle Farms, its owners, instructors, and affiliates from any and all liability for injury, loss, or damage to myself or my personal property that may arise from my participation in workshops or presence on the property, whether caused by myself, the studio, or a third party.

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Loft Studios / La Belle Farms from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) that may arise from my participation in workshops or my presence on the premises.

Agreement

By registering for or attending a workshop, I confirm that I have read and understand these Workshop Policies & Safety Waiver and agree to all terms outlined above. I acknowledge that I am voluntarily giving up certain legal rights I might otherwise have.
